Very special offer as our introduction to you. Spend a minimum of 2 nights at Loldia House in the Great Rift Valley, 3 nights at any of our properties in the Masai Mara and 2 nights at Mfangano Island Camp on Lake Victoria and enjoy a 25% discount of the accommodation!
Set in the heart of Africa’s Great Plains, the Masai Mara boasts 1,672 sq. kilometers of unspoilt wilderness. It offers the best game and bird-viewing not only in Kenya, but anywhere in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense of space overwhelming.
Throughout the year the Masai Mara is a place of natural drama, a kaleidoscope of colour and life.
Most stunning of all are the months between July and October, when the savannah teems with animals during the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Millions of wildebeest gather in the Masai Mara in one of the natural wonders of the world. Staying in one of the Governors’ Camp properties puts you right in the heart of the action, closer than anyone else to its incredible sights and sounds.
Loldia House is situated on a private farm of some 6,500 acres on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Here guests are free to explore the farm with one of our guides, to enjoy the interaction of farming activities and the wild animals which live alongside, and to explore the lakes and mountains of the Great Rift Valley.
Lapped by the waters of Lake Victoria shaded by giant fig trees, and lost to the world, Mfangano Island Camp is an oasis of tranquility, an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Your first view is of beautiful tropical gardens set on a secluded bay. Lawns hug the waterline, flowerbeds and rock gardens surround the camp. Enormous boulders sit at the water’s edge, a perch for cormorants or giant monitor lizards to sun themselves.
If all you desire is to laze in the sunshine, each room has it’s own private veranda with sun beds. Or there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied. The food’s as fresh as can be, fished from the lake (hopefully by you!) or picked fresh from the island’s vegetable gardens and orchards.
